A public speech in class is something that I am working on and perfecting

There is a public speech that is supposed to be carried out in class next week and every student seems to be preparing themselves well for the speech so that they can win the prize mentioned. I on the other hand am a bit confused because I do not even have the topic of my speech in mind, given that you have to choose from the lessons that were carried out last week in class. I have seen that everybody has come up with something over the easiest lesson that we had, leaving behind lessons such as book by isbn titles that we also covered. I think that I will settle for this topic for my speech but then I will need more information on the topic to make my speech livelier and one that makes sense. I hope that having stood out with my choice of topic will be a way through to the prize that has been put to mention, and I am sure that this is a great opportunity for me to succeed in the speech to be presented before my class.
