Past traumatic events do not detect someonees happiness presently

My sister went through a very traumatic episode when she was a teenager and this made her put a halt on all manners of dating. She has zero trust in men and I do not blame her because they gave her a very good reason for her no t to trust them when she was young, and even if there were just a few men, it is hard for her to tell if a man is that brutal or just plain nice. Now she has finally met a guy she is beginning to trust but the problem is the guy has an identical twin and as much as she can tell who her man is she still feels nervous around them. Whenever she is meeting them, she brings me along and we worked on a device to know which is which. One of them bought her a flower on Facebook and my brother contacted the facebook support team to confirm the transaction by an address and a middle name and that helped even me tell the difference of those two. Now we do not confuse the both of them and that is a good thing especially her.
