Reason why manufacturers take advantage of consumers without their knowledge

There are people who will do practically anything to get whatever it is that they want and they will not care how many people they will have to hurt on the way in order to achieve their success. The people who are in the habit of doing this are manufacturers and the victims are the consumers. I know this does not add up because without the consumers, the manufacturers would not even succeed. The reason why consumers are the victims is because they have no idea about their rights as consumers. They do not even know that there are rules that are put up in order to protect them from instances where manufacturers take advantage of them. The one thing that helps consumers know how they are supposed to be treated is the consumer protection guidance. This guidance is there to educate the consumers on how business ought to be done and if at any time they are scammed or sold products that are harmful to them, then they know what steps to take in order to get justice.
