Teaching a Friend How to Make Use of Basic Computer Applications

I am sharing my apartment with Jane, a girl from the province who is currently hunting for employment in the city. She seems a nice person but very timid and shy. One day, she approached me and told me that she is in need of help with word. According to her, she had to prepare her credentials so she could start sending it to her desired companies. She admitted that she knows very little about using the computer and there’s no way she can produce a resume without the help of someone knowledgeable in this device. I willingly helped her prepare her resume and taught her how to do it in a way that she could easily understand. She has no computer so I advised her to buy one when she gets hired. I told her about the importance of using the computer and learning its applications. I even emphasized the fact that this can help her communicate with her family in the province, as well and mentioned that computer skills are truly necessary especially in jobs in the city.
