When Graffiti Becomes Timeless Art

Graffiti today is seen as urban poetry, the Picasso of the 21st century. It’s inspired by ones emotions, experience, surrounding and yah that dirty wall and spray can. Graffiti tries to renew the urban decay of our deteriorating streets. People are even choosing to buy Banksy prints - so it surely is art when people are handing over cash for it!
So when are we going to embrace it as today’s modern art to beautify and abstract our much too monotonous streets. The best thing is that graffiti changes. So from basic baby drawings on your $500 dollar wall paper that make you want to strangle her but you still take that memorable picture of that crazy doodling that’s going to cost you an arm and a leg, to the works of lady pink, Retna Saber Revok, Marquis Lewis, Banksy that portray timeless art and always seam to catch ones raw emotions. I can't wait to see when we start chipping off walls from buildings just to preserve a once much loathed piece of art, seen now as a timeless just like those Indian cave drawings discovered by the greedy men in search for wealth.
